Workweek Outlook: Dry, hot weather ahead

High pressure is parked over the Great Lakes and isn't going anywhere. The resulting weather will be mostly sunny skies with little to no chance of widespread rain for at least another week.

Not only will we see sunshine, but temperatures will gradually climb and might reach 30°C by this coming weekend - that's 5-10 degrees warmer than normal!

Monday will be mostly sunny, with a few clouds this afternoon and temperatures climbing to near 26°C. Sunshine and daytime highs near 26°C continue into Tuesday.

The rest of the week will continue with sunshine and temperatures a few degrees above mid-August normals. There is a risk of a shower on Friday, but it's likely to be scattered - if it happens at all. We might even climb to near 30°C this coming weekend.
