The early part of this workweek brings sunshine and daytime highs that will be a few degrees warmer than normal for mid-April.  Rain arrives midweek and ushers in a change that will see cooler weather move into the region by the end of this week and for this weekend.

Monday will be sunny, but a chilly northwest wind will keep daytime highs at 11°C. The sunshine continues into Tuesday, with temperatures climbing to 14°C. Clouds and gusty east winds arrive after sunset.

Rain moves into the region on Wednesday, dropping daytime highs to 9°C. The rain should end early Thursday, with a chance of late-day sun and temperatures climbing just above 10°C.

A cold front arrives on Friday, bringing scattered showers and cooler air into the region later in the day and for the weekend.
