Workweek Outlook: A little more mid-week rain

Temperatures during this shorter workweek will settle in just a degree or two lower than seasonal values for the end of May. In addition, an extensive system moves in Wednesday night and Thursday to bring widespread rain across the region. Daytime highs in the low 20s should return for this coming weekend.

A mix of sun and cloud moves in on Tuesday, with afternoon temperatures reaching 18°C. Cloud cover arrives Wednesday, with daytime highs remaining in the upper teens. Rain comes in the evening and continues overnight.

Overcast skies, scattered showers and mist linger on Thursday with temperatures near 17°C. Rainfall amounts should be 15-20mm over the entire event.

Skies start to clear on Friday, but a northwest wind will keep daytime highs near 17°C for one last day. The slightly warmer weather arrives on Saturday.
