************************* Mike Moore & Sons Construction wins their second National Safety Award

SAULT STE. MARIE, ON - (March 15, 2011) - Mike Moore & Sons Construction Ltd., Sault Ste. Marie’s leading general contractor, is pleased to announce that they have been awarded the prestigious Gordon M. Vipond Trophy from the Canadian Construction Association (CCA) for the second time in only four years.

This National Safety Award recognizes a company's commitment and achievement to workplace safety.

Mike Moore & Sons received the award at the CCA’s 93rd annual conference on the Big Island of Hawaii.

The company maintains a rigorous safety program that includes a comprehensive, written safety policy and set of beliefs and goals.

Company representatives sit on a number of local and provincial safety groups and committees.

The company helped found the Sault Ste. Marie Construction Association Safety Committee in 2005.

Mike Moore & Sons hold monthly safety meetings with senior management, daily and weekly safety meetings are held at all job sites.

Extensive training is provided by the company to all employees and subcontractors must demonstrate a high commitment to safety.
