************************* A 29-year-old male will appear in bail court this morning charged with assault and assault with a weapon.

It is alleged that yesterday morning, a male got into a verbal dispute with his girlfriend and during this threw a deodorant at the victim striking her and then punched the victim about the head and face splitting her lip.

Police attended and the accused was arrested.

************************* Property crimes

- A wallet was reported stolen from the Marconi Club on March 14. It is alleged to have occurred between 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

- Two cars were entered on Beatrice Street yesterday. It is reported that loose change was taken from both cars.
