************************* City Police responded to two robberies overnight to the Tim Hortons on John Street and the Tim Hortons on Bay Street.
A 32-year-old female [accused of being] responsible for both robberies is currently in custody.
She was arrested around 6 a.m. this morning on Bay Street.
The first robbery on John Street came in around 12:15 a.m.
A female handed a note to the clerk demanding cash and claiming to have a gun and a knife.
No weapon was produced and the female fled the scene by cab with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The second robbery on Bay Street came in at 5:45 a.m. this morning and involved the same female robbing it in a similar manner, obtaining a small amount of cash and fleeing on foot.
A woman was apprehended by City Police a short distance away on Bay Street.
The clerks involved were not physically harmed.
The investigation into these robberies is ongoing and accused person’s name and further details will be put out later this morning in another release.
