Woman accused of coffee-shop BF-slapping

************************* A 19-year-old female was arrested yesterday at 6:08 p.m. at an East End residence and charged with one count of assault.

It is alleged that on the 7th of January at approximately 5:40 p.m. while in a local coffee shop, the accused assaulted her ex-boyfriend by slapping him in the face.

She is to appear in court on the 11th of February.

************************* A 29-year-old female was arrested on the 7th of January at 5:41 p.m. at her residence and charged with one count of assault and one count of assault with a weapon.

It is alleged that on the 7th of January at approximately 11 a.m., the accused got into a verbal argument with her husband at their residence and assaulted him by punching him, pulling his hair and scratching him.

The accused also picked up a hammer and swung it at him.

She is to appear in bail court this morning.
