************************* ELLIOT LAKE, ON - May 28, 2010, police were called to attend the area of Washington Crescent in Elliot Lake regarding a possible assault.

Police learned that the subject had allegedly assault two woman during a small encounter.

Charged with two counts of assault is Dara Louise Judd (56) of Elliot Lake.

Judd is scheduled to appear in Elliot Lake court on July 6, 2010.

************************* Dark green fibreglass canoe missing

ELLIOT LAKE, ON - The East Algoma OPP are currently investigating the theft of a canoe on Panel Mine Road at the Senior Citizens Park.

The victim reports that sometime between May 24, 2010, and May 30, 2010, unknown person(s) attended his camp site #22 at the Seniors Park and removed his dark green fibreglass 2 X 6“ boards on stern transom, web seats canoe.

Also missing are two paddles.

Anyone with information regarding the above theft is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Any information that leads to the arrests or identity of persons responsible can lead to a cash reward.

************************* Camp owner victim of break, enter and theft

ELLIOT LAKE, ON - On May 21, 2010, police received a call regarding a possible the break and enter at a camp in the area of Gull Beak Lake of the Pipeline Road in the Elliot Lake area.

Police learned that sometime between May 12, 2010, and May 21, 2010, unknown person(s) attended the camp and stole a number of items including tools, generators and household articles.

Anyone with information regarding the above break enter and theft is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Any information that leads to the arrests or identity of persons responsible can lead to a cash reward.
