************************* Thirty-nine-year-old Doreen McDonald of 184 East Balfour Street was arrested on the 15th of April at 8:15 a.m. at a downtown residence and charged with two counts of assaulting a peace officer and one count of failing to leave premises when directed under the Trespass to Property Act.

It is alleged that on the 15th of April at approximately 8:10 p.m., City Police were dispatched to remove an intoxicated female from a residence and when they arrived and instructed her to leave, she refused.

It is further alleged that the accused kicked the police officers and attempted to punch them when she was being arrested.

She is to appear in court on the 26th of May.
