Winter weather closes Highway 17 at Batchawana

Inclement weather north of Sault Ste. Marie has resulted in the closure of Highway 17 between Batchawana Bay and Wawa.

All lanes of Highway 17 are closed at this time.

A snow squall warning is currently in effect for the area, which calls for 40 to 70 cm of snow to fall by Wednesday morning.
