Winds force cancelation of Searchmont night skiing

************************* Night skiing canceled tonight

Due to high gusting winds we have been forced to close the triple chair and cancel night skiing for tonight, January 1.

We will resume normal operations tomorrow, Sunday January 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

We have lost some snow over the past couple of days with the unseasonable high temperatures and rain but spring-like conditions remain.

That is changing as the winds bring in colder temperatures and hopefully lots and lots of snow!
