William in custody for home invasion, police seeking second suspect

One male is in custody and a warrant has been issued for a second suspect involved in a home invasion robbery on 08 April 2013 at approximately 11:30 p.m. at a residence on Albert St. West. 

William Patrick Ross age 34 of 173 Elmwood Avenue has been charged with disguise with intent, weapons dangerous, assault, threatening, forcible confinement, and break and enter. 

A 22 year old male is also being sought for the same crimes.

On or about the 8 th of Apr 2013 at approximately 23:30 hours William Patrick Ross and the second suspect broke into a residence on Albert St. West. 

While in the apartment the accused persons threatened two victims with a weapon dangerous to the public (a knife), assaulted one of the victims by tackling and punching him and further forcibly confined the victims in the residence while they stole cash from them. 

The second suspect bear sprayed the victim while committing this robbery. 

William Ross wore a mask during the commission of this offence. Ross will be in bail court today.
