Wiki women charged with drug possession

WIKWEMIKONG TRIBAL POLICE

************************** On Thursday, May 28, members of the Wikwemikong Tribal Police along with members of the OPP Drug Enforcement Section Sudbury and the UCCM Police Service conducted a traffic stop on Highway 6 in Little Current, Ontario.

As a result of conducting a search of the vehicle, police seized a quantity of cannabis marijuana, and prescription medication along with other drug paraphernalia.

Marjorie Shirley Beaudry, 45 years of age, is charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Karen Anne-Marie Constantin, 36 years of age, is charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Both were released and are set to appear in Wikwemikong on August 4 to answer to the charges.

This investigation is part of an on-going initiative by members of the Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service, OPP Drug Enforcement Section Sudbury and the UCCM Police Service to address the increase in crime and drug related activity.
