ST. JOHN AMBULANCE

***************************** What a wonderful opportunity for St. John Ambulance and Brookfield Power to recognize one of our local youth!

A certificate of appreciation was presented to Sean Hurd (pictured) of Sault Ste. Marie, a student at Nipissing University, who responded to an emergency situation and helped a fellow student until paramedics arrived on the scene.

The presentation took place at the Christmas open house at St. John Ambulance training center on Monday, December 11.

Patt Marquis, an instructor with St. John Ambulance, taught Sean first aid and CPR while he was employed as a summer student at Brookfield Power.
