Why we're proud of Samantha and Stephanie and Stacey

Dear Editor: Hi - my name is Samantha Gagnon. Me and my best friends Stephanie and Stacey Cain spent Friday evening making friendship bracelets. We then took our bracelets out into our neighbourhood and sold them for $2 each.

Hi - my name is Samantha Gagnon.

Me and my best friends Stephanie and Stacey Cain spent Friday evening making friendship bracelets.

We then took our bracelets out into our neighbourhood and sold them for $2 each.

We explained to all of our neighbours that "in a time of need we could all use a friend, so we are selling these friendship bracelets and we are donating all of our money to the Red Cross to help the people in New Orleans."

All of our neighbors in Manitou Park were very supportive and did purchase a bracelet or two.

So far we have raised $85.

If you happen to see us out there with our bracelets, please purchase one from us as the people in New Orleans could really use our help.
