NEWS RELEASE

WOMYN 4 SOCIAL JUSTICE

************************* November 25 is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. To mark this day, Womyn 4 Social Justice is having an event at the Station Mall.

The event is called "Loves Me, Loves Me Not" - A Celebration of Self!

We will be located in front of Roots, and we will be giving out free daisies and affirmations all day.

We will have a table there with lots of other information and sharing about what we can do to stop violence against women.

We will have postcards to fill out, that commemorate the 20 days leading up to the December 6, 2009, Montreal Memorial.

Twenty days for the 20 years it has been since that horrible, shocking event known as the Montreal Massacre.

These postcards contain images and dreams and concrete tasks we, as a country, can do to help the government pass laws that address the inequality issues and violence against women issues.

The postcard can be filled out at the table, then we will mail them in en masse to gain the most effect.

Come out and join us for much more, including commemorative jewelery, key chains, and information on the I am A Kind Man campaign.

See you there!
