OTTAWA – Northern Credit Union and its marketing partner, Lucidia, were awarded with five Achievement in Marketing Excellence Awards (AIMEs) at this year’s Marketing Association for Credit Unions (MACU) awards ceremony.

The awards were presented during a Gala Dinner at the 2016 MACU annual conference, which took place on Monday evening at the Delta Ottawa City Centre in Ottawa.

“It’s great to be recognized for our marketing efforts and achievements,” says Tony Dunham, SVP Sales, Marketing & Channel Management for Northern Credit Union. “Since we relaunched the brand several years back, Northern has enjoyed a tremendous amount of success, both from an awareness standpoint, as well as within our industry.”

Northern took home five Achievement in Marketing Excellence Awards in the categories of

  • Outdoor
  • Image Enhancement
  • Financial Education
  • Digital Marketing
  • Radio

The annual AIMEs competition is MACU's most celebrated event of the year and attracts more than 160 entries from credit unions across Canada. The AIMEs recognize achievements in credit union marketing, advertising and communications.
