Who got the most Buskerfest love?

The winner of the People's Choice Award for Buskerfest 2011 is Street Circus, a group from Winnipeg, Manitoba and Chicago, Illinois.

The husband and wife duo of Daniel and Kimberly Craig perform over 100 acrobatic stunts in their act that both amused and amazed the Sault Buskerfest audience.

This year's street festival was Daniel Craig's second time in the Buskerfest winner's circle.

He also won the Sault Buskerfest People’s Choice Award with his solo act, The Dan Show, in 2009.

Also performing at the 8th annual Sault Buskerfest was the 2008 People's Choice Award winner, Wacky Chad, as well as returning favourites Jeff Hill and Bri the Cowguy.

New to the festival this year were UK trickster, Groovy Guy and the husband and wife comedy team, the Daredevil Chicken Club.

Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, now residing in Toronto, Hiccup the Clown added a bit of variety to the festival as a roving performer, as did local magician Marvelous Marvin.
