OPP NEWS RELEASE ********************** (Chapleau, Ontario) - At approximately 12:30 p.m. on the 27th of May 2006, Superior East OPP Chapleau were called to investigate a motor vehicle collision at the corner of Highway 129 and Highway 667.

********************** (Chapleau, Ontario) - At approximately 12:30 p.m. on the 27th of May 2006, Superior East OPP Chapleau were called to investigate a motor vehicle collision at the corner of Highway 129 and Highway 667.

Officers attended and located a car in a ditch that had collided with a stop sign and a culvert.

No injuries were reported in the accident however after further investigation, the driver, 47-year-old Linda Searson of Sudbury was charged with failing to provide a breath sample, careless driving and failing to ensure a child passenger occupies seat belt equipment.

Searson was released and is required to attend court on the 12th of July 2006 in Chapleau.
