The City of Sault Ste. Marie and Social Services’ would like to remind the community that local shelters, Pauline’s Place (923 Queen St. E.) and Vincent’s Place (222 Albert St. E), are open 24 hours per day for those needing to get out of the cold.

The Sault Ste. Marie Soup Kitchen at 172 James St. is also open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for those looking for warmth during the day.
