************************** Male charged with mischief after police station cell is damaged

Twenty-one-year-old Norman Bourgeois of 4824 Second Line West was arrested on Broadview Avenue on the 31st of July at 1:55 a.m. and has been charged with one count of breach of the peace and one count of mischief under $5,000.

On the 31st of July around 3:38 a.m., City Police received a call regarding a fight on Broadview Avenue and when they arrived the accused was found in an agitated state.

It is alleged that he began yelling and kicking the windows of the police cruiser when officers were questioning him.

While the accused was in custody at the police station he caused damage to the cell.

He is to appear in court on the 3rd of August.
