************************** Consequences when you just don't leave!

ELLIOTT LAKE - (March 16) - On March 14th at approximately 11:43 p.m., police responded to a call on Chalmers Crescent in Elliot Lake to assist with ambulance attendants regarding an injured male.

On scene, police noted a male sitting in the front porch of the residence.

The owner of the residence advised police that the male had been asked to leave and requested police remove the male.

When approached by police the male became agitated, police then attempted to take control of the male when another male assaulted one of the police officers.

Charged with assault police and obstruct police is Kyle Sanderson (18) of Elliot Lake.

Sanderson is scheduled to appear in Elliot Lake court on May 5.

Also charged under the Trespass to Property Act is Derrick Sanderson (24).

He is charged with fail to leave when directed.
