What happened this morning on Summit Avenue

*************************** Shortly before 3 a.m. this morning officers were in the area of Summit Avenue on a call of a suspicious male.

While officers were patrolling the area a male in a car on Summit Avenue bailed out of his vehicle and took off on foot.

This caught the officers’ attention and a foot pursuit for the male was started.

When officers caught up with the male it was apparent he had been consuming alcohol and subsequently Dennis Uhlman, age 29, of 67 Superior Drive was arrested and charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of consume over the legal limit.

Further investigation revealed that Mr. Uhlman did not match the description of the suspicious male.

Mr. Uhlman will appear in court on October 18th.
