Weekend Outlook: A brief cool-down

The cold air doesn't hang out long as warmer air returns on Sunday to end the weekend on a high note

A cold front will sweep across Lake Superior on Friday and arrive in the Sault region during the evening.  This front will not only bring the risk of an isolated shower or storm; it will set the stay for cooler weather on Saturday.  The cold air doesn't hang out long as warmer air returns on Sunday to end the weekend on a high note.

Friday will be mostly sunny during the day with southwest winds and temperatures near 25°C.  The risk of an isolated shower or thunderstorm then arrives in the evening as the cold front crosses the region.

Saturday will be cloudy in the morning with sunshine arriving in the afternoon.  A brisk northwest wind and a cold airmass will combine to keep daytime highs at 19°C.

Sunday will be hazy with temperatures climbing back up to near 26°C with lighter northwest winds.
