************************* Female to appear in bail court

Yesterday evening City Police were called to Mark’s Work Wear regarding an [alleged] female shoplifter.

Upon arrival, officers arrested a female verbally identified as Roxanne Sutherland.

It is alleged that the accused attended at Mark’s Work Wear and concealed a pair of coveralls in her packsack and then attempted to run away.

The accused was apprehended by store security and turned over to City Police.

As a result of investigations by the police, it was learned that the accused was in fact a Loretta Carey, age 28 of 1674 Wellington Street East Apartment 6.

The accused was subsequently charged with one count of theft under $5,000, one count of personation and one count of breach of a recognizance.

At the time of these offences the accused was on a court release order prohibiting her from attending at the Station Mall.
