Queen Elizabeth Public School is riding high in its bid to win the Kaboom! online contest and establish the Master Corporal Scott Vernelli Playground on its site.

The East End school is in top spot this morning!

But this is no time for complacency.

As an old sports saying reminds us: “Getting to first place is hard. Staying there is even harder."

Rest assured, the opposition entries will be doing everything possible to increase their vote counts.

Surging tallies today and tomorrow are all but certain.

So, we need to keep building Queen Elizabeth's vote total.

Remember, each person can vote once today and once tomorrow before the contest closes at midnight.

And then get other people to do the same.

By ending first, Queen Elizabeth will get $5,000 for new playground equipment.

The second-place entrant will receive $3,000 and $1,000 will go to the third place finisher.
