**************************** Warm up at Algoma University during Moonlight Magic

SAULT STE. MARIE - (November 17) - Moonlight Magic makes its return in downtown Sault Ste. Marie this year, but there will be a new face on the block on Thursday, November 18.

Algoma University will be hosting a holiday warm up at their Downtown Student Centre from 6 to 11p.m.

Algoma University Foundation staff will be providing warm drinks and holiday treats to shoppers looking to make the most of this year's event, and guests will be allowed to enter a free draw for a gift basket full of Algoma U swag.

"With the former Windsor Park building currently housing our residence and becoming the future site of the Fine Arts and Music Centre, being part of the downtown community is something that is very important to Algoma University", said Kevin Hemsworth, divisional director of external relations for Algoma U. "We want to see the people of Sault Ste. Marie support downtown businesses during the Moonlight Magic event, and we hope they stop in and say hello to us when they need a break from shopping."
