Faithful SooToday.com reader Wendy Sheplawy submitted photos of the surprising lack of snow in Blind River today.
Apparently Blind River residents have taken to calling the area the "tropics."
"These photos were taken today at 8:45 a.m.," Sheplawy wrote. "The grass isn't green, but it isn't white." Blind River's snow-free existence may not last much longer, according to Environment Canada's forecast for the coming week.
