CAICCO, Vincent - It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of a treasured husband, dad, grandfather and great grandfather, Vincent Caicco.  

Vincent was born in Cleto, Italy April 9, 1930 and passed away peacefully Friday, April 11, 2014 at the Sault Area Hospital with his family by his side. 

Vincent's life was blessed with 57 years of marriage to Franca, their children Marilyn (late Fabio) Nicastro (Michael Sebecic), Eby Gioia (Sam), grandchildren Carrie Hallaran (Jesse), Korina McClellan (Zak), Cesare Gioia (Sonya), along with newest great grandson Sam Cesare Gioia. 

Vincent was born to late Raffaele and Louisa Caicco, brother to late Ernesto Caicco (late Giuseppina), late Anna Chiarello (late Salvatore), Alfred and Maria Caicco, late Elvira Bruni (late Luigi), late Maria Caicco, Santino Caicco (late Emma). 

Son in law of the late Gaetano and Amelia Nesi. Brother in law of Peppino Nesi (Lucia), late Nicolas Nesi, Elio Nesi, Ornella Raffa (Carmelo), late Rosalba Mordenti (Alfonso), Gianfranco Nesi (Valentina).

Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Vincent worked at Algoma Steel as a highly respected crane operator for over 30 years.

He owned V. Caicco Driving School for 30 years. 

His passion for teaching driving skills and receiving numerous awards from the Ministry of Transportation were a pride for Vincent. 

His highest pride being family and grandchildren and great grandson. 

Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Monday, April 14, 2014 from 6 – 9 p.m. and again on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. 

Funeral Mass will then be celebrated at Precious Blood Cathedral at 11 a.m. 

Rev. Hamish Currie officiating. 

Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. 

Memorial contributions to S.A.H. Foundation would be appreciated.
