There were 203 participants in today's Bon Soo Polar Bear Swim at Bellevue Park.

For some reason utterly incomprehensible to us, the Infinitely Wise 2007 Polar Bear Swim Judges failed to declare a Best Costume winner.

We thought Mr. Necktie-Guy (shown) was definitely worthy of consideration for his elegantly simple cravat-and-spectacles concept.

The fake-movie-muscled superhero look made its first appearance at this year's event.

St. Mary's College tartan remained strong, as did the traditional hand-defaced white t-shirt.

One group tried the old "Let's Dress Up Like Wizard Of Oz Characters And Show Up So Fashionably Late That We Won't Actually Have To Jump In The River" trick.

But the Infinitely Wise Bon Soo Judges would have none of it.

View Polar Bear Swim video by SooToday.com's Peter Gualtieri Below, you'll find the official list of 2007 Polar Bear Swim award winners, as announced by the Infinitely Wise Bon Soo Judging Committee.

At the bottom of the winner's list is a photo gallery of more swim pictures. Best Spirit
