Free show at Machine Shop on May 31 is geared toward families and caregivers of older adults who are trying to navigate local services and supports

Those looking for ways to support the local community of older adults and their caretakers are invited to upcoming vendor show at the Machine Shop. 

This free event, put on by The Algoma Geriatric Network, Alzheimer Society, Algoma Manor, Group Health Centre, Red Cross, Algoma Ontario Health Team, Patient and Family Advisors, and the City of Sault Ste. Marie is set to take place on May 31 from 1 p.m to 8 p.m.

Navigating services and supports that enhance healthy aging and well-being of older adults can be overwhelming for families and caregivers. In response to this challenge, The Algoma Geriatric Network, Alzheimer Society, Algoma Manor, Group Health Center, Red Cross, Algoma Ontario Health Team, Patient and Family Advisors, and the City of Sault Ste. Marie are hosting a free Vendor Show to celebrate Our Caring Community on Friday May 31, from 1 p.m to 8 p.m.

An important event to attend in support of our community of older adults, family, friends and caregivers.

This free Vendor Show is being hosted at the Machine Shop, boasting a collection of over 45 information booths and displays. Entertainment will be provided by the Senior Singers, Belly Dancers and demonstrations from Cycling Without Age.

We invite the community to join us in gathering valuable information and supports available in Sault Ste. Marie.

The Our Caring Community Vendor Show is open to all families and caregivers.
