************************* Male and female charges with assaulting security officers

SAULT STE. MARIE, ON - (December 15) - Forty-year-old Wayne Victor Cooper and 40-year-old Valerie Desmoulin, both of 17a Albion, have both been charged with one count each of assault.

On December 13 both were brought into an office at Rome's Independent Grocer’s store.

The security guard was going to issue them a trespass notice.

The male accused [allegedly] assaulted the security officers and police were called to attend.

On the way out of the building the female [allegedly] assaulted the security guard.

Police officers charged both with assault.

They will be appearing in court on the January 19.

SAULT STE. MARIE, ON - (December 15) - Forty-four-year-old Francis George Wahsquonaikezhik of 4 Clearview Drive has been charged with one count of assault, one count of threatening bodily harm, and one count of break and enter and commit.

It’s believed that on December 14 at approximately 1:45 a.m., the accused attended at a residence in the East End of town and forced his way through the doorway.

Once inside he [allegedly] punched a male and female both known to him.

Before leaving the residence the accused [allegedly] threatened to harm the male victim.

He will be appearing in court on January 19.
