November 3, 2009 - The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care is allocating unadjuvanted vaccine to Algoma Public Health for pregnant women.

Once available, the vaccine will be offered to pregnant women in any of our high risk H1N1 clinics.

As well, in Sault Ste. Marie, additional clinics on Saturday, November 6 and Sunday, November 7 will be available to those pregnant women regardless of stage of pregnancy or medical conditions who have not yet accessed the H1N1 vaccine.

Call to book your appointment: 541-2332 or 1-800-469-2449.

The district offices in Wawa, Blind River and Elliot Lake will also provide access to the unadjuvanted vaccine and pregnant women who wish to be vaccinated at these sites should call their local health unit office.

We expect to start offering the unadjuvanted vaccine beginning Thursday or Friday of this week.
