Upper Peninsula weather cameras off-line

****************************** U.P. weather station cameras temporarily off-line

Due to unforeseen compatibility issues, views from road weather station cameras in the Upper Peninsula are temporarily unavailable on the Michigan Department of Transportation's (MDOT) Mi Drive Web site.

Currently, only one camera view from the U.P. is available.

The network used to connect the camera views to the Mi Drive Web site is currently incompatible with the 13 road weather cameras located at environmental sensor stations on state trunklines.

A third-party system is being upgraded in order to accommodate the new video images.

As soon as this upgrade is completed, scheduled for later this month, all of the U.P. camera views will once again be available to the public.
