********************* Beach postings removed!

The beach postings at Point des Chenes and Batchawana Bay Park have been removed.

Test samples have determined that the water does not pose a hazard to swimming/bathing. The beaches within Kinsmen Park (also known as Hiawatha Park) and Centennial Park (also known as Pumpkin Point), remain posted due to adverse water results.

The test results of water samples taken continue to exceed the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care guidelines for safe swimming/bathing. The Medical Officer of Health advises that these beaches are unsafe for swimming/bathing at this time. When the postings are removed the public will be notified.
