************************* Update - police locate the two other males

THEESSALON,ON - Today police earlier reported a break-in at two cottages in Johnson Twp where two males had been arrested and two were still at large.

It was later learned that there were also three firearms that were stolen from the cottages.

It is believed that the four males had broken into the cottages accessed the secured firearms and after locating ammunition began shooting up the camp.

This was when the neighbours arrived and the suspects fled into the bush.

Police had located two of the males and one of the firearms as .22 calibre rifle.

At that time the other two males and the .30 calibre rifle and a shotgun were still outstanding.

At 9:15 a.m. officers located the other two males walking along Highway 17 where they were arrested.

Police have since located the remaining two firearms.

Charged is 18-year-old Jordan Springbett of Sault Ste. Marie.

Springbett is charged with the following criminal offences:

- Break and enter and steal a firearm, Section 98(1)(b), Criminal Code (two counts)

- Break and enter and commit indictable offence, Section 348(1)(b), Criminal Code (two counts)

- Theft under $5,000, Section 334(b), Criminal Code

- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, Section 88, Criminal Code.

A 17-year-old male from Sault Ste. Marie who cannot be identified has been charged with:

- Break and enter and steal a firearm, section 98(1)(b), Criminal Code (two counts)

- Break and enter and commit indictable offence, Section 348(1)(b), Criminal Code (two counts).

A second 17-year-old from Sault Ste. Marie who cannot be identified has been charged with:

- Break and enter and steal a firearm, Section 98(1)(b), Criminal Code (two counts)

- Break and enter and commit indictable offence, Section 348(1)(b), Criminal Code (two counts)

- Fail to comply with a sentence order, Section 137, Youth Criminal Justice Act (two counts).

A 16-year-old from Sault Ste. Marie who cannot be identified has been charged with:

- Break and enter and steal a firearm, Section 98(1)(b), Criminal Code (two counts)

- Break and enter and commit indictable offence, Section 348(1)(b), Criminal Code (two counts)

- Theft under $5,000, Section 334(b,) Criminal Code

- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, Section 88, Criminal Code

- Careless use of a firearm, section 86(1), Criminal Code

- Fail to comply with a sentence order, Section 137 Youth Criminal Justice Act

- Possession of a firearm when prohibited, Section 117.01(1), Criminal Code.

Springbett and the three young persons are all being held for bail.
