Tyler visits Hill Street. Slew of charges ensue

On July 28 at approximately 2 a.m., police responded to reports of a male with a gun outside a residence on Hill Street.

It is alleged that the accused drove to that residence, removed a shotgun from his vehicle and confronted the occupants of the house.

Police located the male at his residence a short time later and he was arrested without incident.

18-year old Tyler McCarthy of 144 McFadden Avenue has been charged with one count of assault with a weapon, one count of possession of a weapon dangerous, one count of careless use of a firearm, one count of possession of a firearm without a license, one count of pointing a firearm and one count of being in a vehicle in which a firearm was unlawfully kept.

He is to appear in bail court July 30.
