So much for graduated licensing.

The OPP have charged two teenagers — one 15, the other 16 — with stealing a motor vehicle from Sudbury on Friday night.

Police say the car was located early the next morning on the shoulder of Highway 535, south of Markstay-Warren.

The 15-year-old, who is from Hanmer, and the 16-year-old, a resident of St. Charles, were both charged with theft of a motor vehicle and possession of property over $5,000 obtained by crime.

The 15-year-old was also charged with two counts of failure to comply with an undertaking, pointing to a previous run-in with authorities.

The OPP did not release the names of the suspects because their identities are protected by the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
