Two new forest fires reported in the region

************************** Forest fire situation update - East Fire Region

There were two new fires reported in the East Fire Region within the last 24 hours. 

Sudbury 14 was reported at 0.1 hectaers and is now out and North Bay 29 is being held at 0.1 hectares.

The forest fire hazard in the East Fire Region is low to moderate.

Approximately 300 Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources forest fire fighting staff are in British Columbia as efforts to assist there continue into week eight.

As the ongoing exchange of staff continues, 95 are expected to return to Ontario Thursday September 10.
