Two charged after Shannon Rd drug bust

The City Police street team executed a drug warrant at 12:08 p.m. yesterday at 5547 Shannon Road. There, officers seized quantities of ecstasy, marijuana, cocaine and OxyContin, as well as weigh scales and $255 in cash.

Street value of the stash was estimated at $6,433.

Joshua Vuotilainen, 28, was charged with three counts of possession for purposes of trafficking, two counts of possessing narcotics and one charge of possessing a prohibited flick knife while forbidden from having firearms or weapons.

Margaret Matthews, 29, of the same address is facing similar charges.
