Two bald guys help airport celebrate

Follically challenged radio personalities Dave Adams (Yes FM 99.5) and Lou Turco (Talk Radio 1400) were hamming it up this afternoon as the Sault Ste. Marie Airport Development Corp. celebrated its fifth birthday.

The airport has existed since 1961 but today's celebration commemorated its transfer of ownership on March 27, 1998 from the federal government to the private development company.

The fledgling airport authority has been diversifying its revenue stream and this winter opened Runway Park, a recreational venue designed to host snowmobile and motocross races, tractor pulls, concerts and drag racing events.
