Trucks keep bridge busy for March

The International Bridge Administration today announced that one-way traffic crossings of the International Bridge at Sault Ste. Marie totaled 158,085 for the month of March 2014. This represents a decrease of 6.7% as compared to March 2013.

Traffic statistics for the month are as follows:

Full-Fare Passenger Cars: 61,565 -12.4% 38.9%
Commuter Fare: 85,401 -4.1% 54.0%
Car Pulling Trailers 1,181 -21.1% 0.8% 
Commercial Trucks: 9,938 17.0% 6.3%
Totals: 158,085 -6.7% 100.0%

Traffic for calendar year 2014 has totaled 443,335 vehicles; this represents a decrease of 4.6% as compared to 2013.
