********************* Charges laid in train accident

(Wawa, Ontario) - Charges have been laid stemming from a tractor-trailer and train collision that occurred on the 3rd of February 2006. On that date, a tractor-trailer driven by 25-year-old Dominic Alary of Hearst, Ontario failed to stop for a train at a CN crossing approximately 25 kilometres east of Wawa.

Alary is charged with possession of a controlled substance and impaired driving causing bodily harm contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

Alary is also charged with defective brakes, failing to furnish required information and disobey railway crossing signal contrary to the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.

He is required to attend court on the 10th of July in Wawa.
