Trevor Hunter charged with aggravated assault

************************* Male arrested for aggravated assault

Twenty-nine-year-old Trevor Hunter of 50 Francis Street was arrested on the 25th of April at 1 a.m. on Huron Street and charged with one count of aggravated assault.

It is alleged that on the 24th of April just after 2 a.m., the accused assaulted a male while outside a local downtown bar.

The 33-year-old male victim received non-life-threatening injuries that required medical treatment.

The accused is to appear in court on the 31st of May.

************************* Male arrested for threatening

Thirty-two-year-old Joseph Bryze of 640 Shafer Avenue was arrested on the 24th of April at 10:55 p.m. at his residence and charge with one count of threatening death or bodily harm.

It is alleged that on the 24th of April the accused contacted a person known to him by phone and threatened him.

The accused is to appear in court on the 31st of May.
