Trashy news: Expect delays at the dump next week

Scale upgrades are scheduled to begin Monday, with only one operating at a time

Delays are expected next week at the city landfill.

Scale maintenance work will begin on Monday, with the goal of improving the efficiency and accuracy of loads.

The scheduled upgrade is expected to last four days, until Oct. 19.

During the work, only one scale will be operating at a time. This could result in delays while processing customers in and out of the landfill, particularly if there is a high volume of traffic.
