All of the 29 workers trapped in a coal mine in New Zealand are believed to be dead, police said tonight.
Air samples from inside the Pike River mine contain high concentrations of methane and carbon monoxide but only small amounts of oxygen.
The second explosion in five days occurred today and it's believed no one could have survived it.
