Sault Trailblazers announced today that colder temperatures have allowed them to reopen local snowmobile trails for use by their permit buyers.

"Following a recent assessment of the trails, it has been decided that the trails are acceptable for snowmobiling," the club said in a press release.

"However, riders must use extreme caution since some trails may still contain water on the trail and/or other hazards.

"The groomers will be out on most trails as of today, however, it is expected that it will take a few days before the trails can be updated from their current limited to fair condition.

"The Sault Trailblazers stress for snowmobilers to use common sense at all times when using the trails since changes to the trail conditions may change very quickly with any adverse changes to the weather.

"The Sault Trailblazers will continue to keep snowmobilers informed on the trail conditions and snowmobilers can also check conditions by calling 759-0023 or checking the web site out at www.ssmtrailblazers.com"
