Trafficking charges laid after vehicle searched on McNabb

************************* Four persons were arrested in a vehicle that was stopped by City police yesterday on McNabb Street around 8:30 p.m.

It is alleged that when police checked the vehicle that contained the four persons, they located two bags of marijuana, a small amount of cocaine, cash and drug paraphernalia, including a digital scale and packaging material.

The following were arrested:

- 20-year-old Jacob Leonard of #1-95 Goulais Avenue has been charged with one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance and one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking in a controlled drug or substance. He is to appear in court on the 1st of October.

- 20-year-old John Gibbs of 173 Goulais Avenue has been charged with one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance and one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking in a controlled drug or substance. He is to appear in court on the 1st of October.

- 18-year-old Jordon Morrar of 36 Nichol Avenue has been charged with one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance, one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking in a controlled drug or substance and one count of breach of a release document as at the time of the incident he was in company of one of the co-accused that he is on conditions not to communicate with. He is to appear in court on the 1st of October.

- A 17-year-old female youth who cannot be named was also charged with one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance and one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking in a controlled drug or substance. She is to appear in court on the 2nd of October.
