Traffic stop leads to impaired charge

ELLIOT LAKE – On June 18, 2014 at 10:18 p.m. an officer from the East Algoma detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Elliot Lake stopped a vehicle being driven on Manitoba road in Elliot Lake. 

As a result of the stop the driver was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. 

Charged is 65-year-old David SAMPSON of Elliot Lake.

He is charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and being over 80 mgs.

He is schedule to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on August 5, 2014.
