Too much bruin to bear

Bear decides to come up for a bite - or something

SooToday has received the following pictures from reader Chelsea Pace whose family recently had a close encounter of the bear kind.

She says the pictures were taken Friday, May 29 early in the afternoon.  

"My grandmother heard a noise, looked out the window and saw the bear climbing along the window ledge and up the side of the screened-in deck most likely trying to get to the bird feeder. My uncle opened the window and bear got startled, fell and ran away out back."

Chelsea says the encounter happened in the Cedar Heights neighbourhood.
